Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 July 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Courselet (the service). By creating an account, publishing a course, or completing a course, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Courselet lets creators build short, card-based courses and publish them to a public link that anyone can complete in a browser. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Your account
Creators need an account to build and publish courses. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Learners do not need an account to complete a published course.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account.
Your content
You keep ownership of the courses and other content you create. By publishing content on Courselet, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and provide the service (for example, serving your published course to the people you share its link with).
You are responsible for the content you publish, including having the rights to use it and ensuring it complies with our Content Policy and applicable law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. This includes not publishing prohibited content (see our Content Policy), not attempting to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service, and not using it to infringe the rights of others.
We may investigate and take action on suspected violations, including removing content, disabling links, or suspending accounts.
Published courses and public links
When you publish a course, its link is public: anyone who has the link can view and complete the course without signing in. You control publishing and can unpublish a course, after which its link stops working within a short period.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we provide it on an as-available basis and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of significant changes where practical.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or the Content Policy, or where required to protect the service or comply with the law. Your published data may be removed following termination.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page, and significant changes may be highlighted. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
